Kenneth Nanni, Ph.D., LHCRM, is the overall instructor for all of the courses associated with the Institute. He received his undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Florida, his Doctorate Degree in Social & Systemic Studies from Nova Southeastern University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University.

The Faculty 

Patricia Ann Bemis, RN LHRM CEN is a registered nurse and a licensed health care risk manager in the state of Florida. She is currently faculty with Health Care Risk Management Institute and a former instructor at the University of Florida for several courses including the online courses Health Care Risk Management. Bemis was the president of the National Nurses in Business Association for 13 years, and the recipient of the 100 Great Nurses Award presented by the Florida Nurses Association.

About the Institute 

The Institute for Health Care Risk Management provides flexible, affordable and quality professional development training programs for Risk Management , Patient Safety and Healthcare Compliance Professionals.

As a professional training academy the Institute engages content experts (such as physicians, nurses and attorneys) for the purpose of developing educational material and facilitating online chat sessions. Content experts and faculty are selected based on standards established by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

Each course is carefully reviewed both by the Lead Faculty Member and individual content experts who review courses based on participant feedback and learning analytics data. The course review includes the implementation of a course assessment rubric based on course review standards developed by Quality Matters.
